]]> Former EcoReach president, Kelsey Solomon, recently gave a talk about EcoReach at the Society for Freshwater Science’s Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kelsey highlighted the benefits of organizing community engagement activities at the department level, rather than at the level of individual labs. She also shared some of the specific activities that EcoReach has developed that are focused on freshwater science, such as the mock macroinvertebrate bioassessment activity that we did at this year’s ExperienceUGA! This talk was part of a special session at the SFS Annual Meeting entitled “Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in the Freshwater Sciences”. Great job, Kelsey!
