Saturday April 25th
Sandy Creek Nature Center Naturalist Walk
Join us for a guided morning walk uncovering the beautifully diverse flora and fauna found throughout Sand Creek Nature Center. All ages are welcome to bring binoculars, a camera, and a sense of adventure! (Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult).
Time: 10am – 11am
Rock and Shoals Plant + Mushroom Walk
Discover the rare and remarkable plant and fungal diversity of Rock and Shoals Park on a guided walk led by graduate students from the Odum School of Ecology! We’ll explore the park’s unique outcrops, mosses, lichens, and mushrooms. To help keep this fragile landscape pristine, registration is required. Note that parking is limited.

Lily Branch Bird Club Walk
Celebrate spring migration at the GA State Botanical Gardens with UGA’s one and only birding club on a group bird walk! Learn to spot, record, and identify local birds while enjoying a peaceful morning outdoors.
Time: 8am – 9:30am
