STEMzone at UGA

EcoReach attended STEMzone at UGA and taught people about firefly signaling!

STEMzone is a fun event held on game day, where tailgaters can come learn about different scientific topics. By participating in STEMzone, students learn to develop engaging scientific activities and practice science communication.

EcoReach designed a firefly signaling program that talked about how fireflies communicate. By using a lite-bright, we can see how firefly flashes can differentiate. Firefly flashes can have different patterns, colors, and speed!

Special thanks to everyone for coming out to learn with us!
